Free Show ! Don’t Be An “Outsider” (*5Cs)

Advanced Drama will perform a cutting of “THE OUTSIDERS” on Sat., Nov. 9 at NCHS. Nelson will host the VHSL Sub Regional One-Act Play Festival which is free and open to the public.
Schools from all over Virginia will be here performing their plays of choice. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., the first show is at 10 a.m. Note: The doors lock at the start of each show and will not open until the end of each play. For the first time in a long time, our actors will portray characters their own age instead of much older. Even though this is set in the 1950s the themes of love, loss, privilege, and family are still prevalent today. This version is by S.E.Hinton and adapted by Christopher Sergel.
